LEATHER COLOUR RESTORER

250ml Size for all different types of leather.

Scratch Doctor's Leather Colour Restorer is an easy to use solution for restoring colour to faded and worn leather. The restorer is simply rubbed into the leather with a soft cloth (supplied). Restorer soaks into the the leather restoring the colour of the leather.

DESCRIPTION:

This product renovates the colour of leather items, both new and old.    The colour restorer absorbs 100% into the leather so will not rub off.

This product is suitable for absorbent leathers only. To test your leather, add a drop of water in an inconspicuous area. If the water soaks into the leather, you have absorbent leather. If the water sits on top or rolls off you have a non absorbent leather.

INSTRUCTIONS:

First ensure the leather is clean. Apply Colour Restorer with a clean cloth (supplied) in a circular motion to ensure penetration. This is enough to completely restore the colour.

Take a clean cloth and buff the surface of the leather, ensuring there is no excess left on the leather.

SUITABILITY:

Leather Colour Restorer can be used on all different articles of absorbent leather, from furniture and car interior to clothes, shoes, handbags and even equestrian leathers. It works on all colours of leather and all different grain types.

  • Aniline & Semi-Aniline Leather
  • Pigmented / Top Coat Leather
  • Oil & Wax Pull Up Leather
  • BiCast Leather
  • Two Tone, Mottled & Antique Finished Leather

NOTE:

For Scratches. The restorer achieves best results on scratches that are a lighter colour than the leather, if the scratch is darker you will need one of our Leather Dye Kits

For Lighter Patches. The restorer needs to soak into your leather – to test this, put a tiny drop of water onto the damaged area and see if it soaks in. If the leather isn’t absorbent, you will need one of our Leather Touch Up Kits (for small areas).

Leather Balm and cleaner, Black and Cream on Car seats

Published by Dean Cardey on 31st Oct 2018

The cleaner is very good on my Saab car seats, The Black balm is very good being dark and made a very nice job of hiding cracks and marks in a worn seat, but the Cream although made a nice job of making the uncracked leather very nice, it never colored in the cracks and marks like the Black does. Overall I would give the Black 5 stars, but I can only give the Cream 3 stars for the application I used it for. Different applications might be a better result,or maybe I was expecting to much.

    Leather Car seat restoration

Published by Unknown on 4th Sep 2018

I own a 15 year old car with leather seats that were showing signs of wear and age creasing.
The Leather Balm product has restored the colour and reduced the signs of age. Very simple to use and impressive product that also revives the smell of leather in the car.

    Leather dye colour restorer

Published by Grae on 29th Jan 2018

This colour restorer is ok for a genereal spruce up but it doesn't seem to dye the leather, even when it has been thoroughly cleaned with Simply Leather Deep Cleanser. It is more like a shoe cream in that it sits on top of the leather rather than sorting out the faded leather.

    Loose lid but good color

Published by Peter Wheadon on 23rd Jan 2018

Package arrived with detached lid, spilling 1/10 of fluid in box. Lid will not seal tightly when turned, but slips loose for another turn. Applied product to large dark brown recliner. Did two applications to get even color. Will have to see how it holds up. Looks good for now.

    A big improvement

It arrived on time. The colour match was not exactly the same but the final result was a big improvement to the original damage and discolourment.
