Scratch Doctor's Leather Colour Restorer is an easy to use solution for restoring colour to faded and worn leather. The restorer is simply rubbed into the leather with a soft cloth. Restorer soaks into the the leather restoring the colour of the leather.

DESCRIPTION:

This product renovates the colour of leather items, both new and old.    The colour restorer absorbs 100% into the leather so will not rub off.

This product is suitable for absorbent leathers only. To test your leather, add a drop of water in an inconspicuous area. If the water soaks into the leather, you have absorbent leather. If the water sits on top or rolls off you have a non absorbent leather.

INSTRUCTIONS:

First ensure the leather is clean. Apply Colour Restorer with a clean cloth in a circular motion to ensure penetration. This is enough to completely restore the colour.

Take a clean cloth and buff the surface of the leather, ensuring there is no excess left on the leather.

SUITABILITY:

Leather Colour Restorer can be used on all different articles of leather, from furniture and car interior to clothes, shoes, handbags and even equestrian leathers. It works on all colours of leather and all different grain types.

  • Aniline & Semi-Aniline Leather
  • Pigmented / Top Coat Leather
  • Oil & Wax Pull Up Leather
  • BiCast Leather
  • Two Tone, Mottled & Antique Finished Leather

NOTE:

For Scratches. The restorer achieves best results on scratches that are a lighter colour than the leather, if the scratch is darker you will need one of our Leather Dye Kits

For Lighter Patches. The restorer needs to soak into your leather – to test this, put a tiny drop of water onto the damaged area and see if it soaks in. If the leather isn’t absorbent, you will need one of our Leather Touch Up Kits (for small areas).

Excellent product. Did exactly what it said.

Published by LJ on 11th Jun 2019

I really wasn't expecting this product to work, but I bought it anyway, to try to restore the rich blue colour of a once beautiful leather bag. The style of bag has many folds in the leather - nothing could hide the signs of fading to the edges of the folds and other areas. I very much doubted it could restore a deep and even colouring, but I was wrong. After cleaning it carefully with a high quality soap and warm water, I applied 2 coats of the cream, as per the instructions. The bag is now restored and a final wipe with a white cloth showed no colour residue which might have been likely to transfer to clothing. I would buy this product again.

Best scratch remover / restorer so far!

Published by Ronald Kools on 9th Jun 2019

My black leather car interior is in reasonably good shape, except for one spot on the drivers seat. I used some black leather color restorer and it almost invisible now. I tried a couple of products but none worked as good as this one. Also the black color blended in perfectly so you can't see any difference with the rest of the interior.

Great price and quick delivery (I ordered it from abroad). Highly recommended!

Was a bit worried about the quality given this product only cost just over £5.....

No need ....this restorer worked exactly as Advertised. 10 minute job and finished perfectly.
Would recommend to anyone who has leather furniture which has faded or been scratch damaged.

    Perfect result

Published by Kate on 5th Feb 2019

I used this to rescue some scratched seat cushions on a dark brown leather sofa (the sort of leather that doesn't absorb water). It sank into the scratches and after a good buffing the cushions look beautiful again. And I probably used no more than a couple of teaspoons of the restorer.

    Old handbag now looks new

Published by Nic on 24th Dec 2018

I bought some of this product for a vintage Bally handbag which was showing wear on the strap and edges of the bag. The ScratchDoctor Leather Colour Restorer has greatly improved the look of the bag. I looks nearly new now. Plus, the shipping was cheap and fast, and I live all the the way in New Zealand!! Great product and service. Thank you!

    Excellent Product

Published by Unknown on 22nd Oct 2018

Worked extremely well to cover marks on our leather settee. Apply gently by dabbing with a lint free cloth and do not rub in. Up to three coats may be required to achieve full coverage, have patience and allow to thoroughly dry between coats.

Worked well, I just followed the instructions given for leather. One must be careful not to put too much on, better to apply several layers.

Removing dye from accident on carpet.

Published by Ray S on 3rd Sep 2018

We had an unfortunate accident with some maroon dye on a cream carpet largest area about 3" x 2", followed advice on a web site one tablespoon washing up liquid+one tablespoon white vinegar+two cups of warm water, sponge with clean cloth and we used kitchen roll to soak up the stain until clear after many dabs with the cloths/solution eventually the carpet was clean. Hope this helps if anyone else has an accident.
